Our travel health service is pharmacist-led, with individual assessment and clinical decision-making at our Rochdale clinic for travellers across Greater Manchester.

Alicia Barker is the Superintendent Pharmacist and is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC 2241860).

Clinical practice

Vaccinations are supplied and administered through an appropriate legal and clinical framework for the service and patient. Suitability is assessed before treatment, including relevant medical history, medicines, allergies, vaccination history and destination-specific considerations.

• Individual suitability assessment before vaccination
• Contraindication and precaution screening
• Appropriate emergency procedures and escalation pathways
• Referral to another healthcare service where needs fall outside our scope
