Treatment Options
Treatment may include increased hydration advice, over-the-counter symptom relief or prescription antibiotics where clinically appropriate following assessment. Not all urinary symptoms require antibiotics and clinical evaluation is essential.

When To Seek Further Help
Symptoms such as fever, back or side pain, nausea, vomiting or symptoms that do not improve with treatment may indicate a more serious infection and require urgent medical assessment. Our team always advises when escalation of care is needed.
