Mental Health Support in Rochdale & Greater Manchester: Where to Get Help

If you are looking for mental health support in Rochdale, Heywood, Middleton or Greater Manchester, the right service depends on whether you need emergency, urgent or non-urgent help.

Emergency: immediate danger

Call 999 or go to A&E if you or someone else is in immediate danger or there is an immediate risk to life.

Urgent mental health support

Across Greater Manchester, call NHS 111 and select mental health option 2 if urgent mental health support is needed but it is not an emergency. The service is free, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can be used for yourself or someone else.

NHS Talking Therapies in Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton

NHS Talking Therapies provides support for common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression. The Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale service accepts self-referrals.
